Getting started

1. Install the app and open it from the Shopify admin.
2. Add wholesale customers in Customers & balances and choose their terms (Net 7, Net 30, weekly or biweekly). Or tag customers wholesale in Shopify: they are added when they open the order form.
3. Link the order form /apps/wholesale in your store menu (Online Store → Navigation). Customers must be logged in.
4. When a request comes in, open it, enter the delivered quantities and final prices, and click Confirm prices and create order.
5. Record payments on the customer page; partial payments are fine.

Frequently asked questions

Is the customer charged at checkout? No. The order is created with payment terms and stays "Payment pending" until you record the payment.

Can I price by weight? Yes. Enter a decimal delivered quantity (for example 12.35); the Shopify order keeps the delivered quantity and unit price on the line.

Where do customers see their balance? On the order form page, on each invoice, and in their customer account (add the "Wholesale balance" block in the customer accounts editor).

Do I need Shopify Plus? No. The app works on all plans that have customer accounts and draft orders.
